British Politics Are Getting Dangerous

Britain really is in a situation where if someone disagrees with you, "you're a fascist, therefor it's okay to throw bricks at you, as one day you may become a Nazi". That really is a genuine thought by some people in my country, this increasing joke of a country. To other nationstates, please see Britain as a warning of tolerating political violence and the fringe left.

When people only see things in black and white it’s always dangerous. Every situation is different and needs to be acted upon as so. Unfortunately with my mind set I’m hated by both the left and right.

Sometimes I think we need to let people make their own choices. After all, it’s their lives. However, I don’t believe we should be giving money away to anybody either. I just look at every issue individually think of the different options and choose. If you’re not all of one way here in the US you’re disliked by both. @Tatsumi

I have both sides call me a part of the other side unfortunately. Both seem equally blinded. I find politics on a spectrum though it just depends on where they fall on that spectrum. I live in a far right state so I deal with them more in person whereas online I deal with the left more. It just depends I suppose. @cunningcrocodile

I’ve had them verbally say I should be hung, shot, etc for my opinions. The left just calls me whatever name they can think of. 🤷🏻‍♀️@cunningcrocodile

That’s unfortunate. Nobody should do that! To be fair, I live in an area with a small population so I can’t speak for the whole country. @cunningcrocodile

@SlytherpuffLove They shouldn't. But we are in a climate in the UK where a large number of people will support violence against you as long as they can give you the right label. "far right/fascist/troll" which means that at some point in the future you may become a "nazi" so they need to be violent towards you. And there is nothing Nazi like in physically intimidating your political opponents, no.
