If trump replaced the 2/3rd rule in congress for supreme court picks and some legislation, wudn't that replace the need for 2/3rd majority to impeach?

I think so can't have one and not the other.

It used to be that it took 67 Senate votes to block a filibuster against a Supreme Court nominee, but not anymore...All McConnell needs now is 50 Senate votes, plus Pence, to confirm a Trump Supreme Court nominee...As far as legislation goes, all the Republicans need is 51 votes in the Senate..The "2/3rd rule" is dead.
