Growing up in the South where segregationist Democrats controlled everything made for an easy choice to become an "R" rather than a "D" in one big step.
But I became an "I" rather than an "R" in stages. One big step was when George W Bush genuflected to the Democrat stooge media and threw Trent Lott under the bus.
A few polite word by Trent Lott about racist Strom Thurmond got him bounced as senate majority leader; yet years of Bill Clinton patting racist William Fullbright on the back gets ignored by the Democrat stooge media. Republican values are too often crafted by Democrats through their fake-news outlets.
In more recent times, Republicans are as responsible for the Russian Collusion Hoax as are Democrats. How could they have abandoned the top echelons of the DOJ and FBI and left Obama political loyalist in charge? How could Jeff Sessions have fallen into the Democrats' trap? Easy: Republicans helped set that trap.

Seriously, the Catholic archdiocese needs to confess their own sins like the Vatican Bank needs a robbery. If they did, we would see this in the streets...
