My favorite thing about Trump is that he won't serve more than one term.
ineedadrink · 51-55, M
@windinhishair Two at the most.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@ineedadrink Won't happen. His support is decreasing with time. He couldn't even come close if the election was today.
ineedadrink · 51-55, M
@windinhishair Perhaps, but who would have thought he'd win when he held that first news conference at Trump tower. Predicting people's voting actions ain't easy.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@ineedadrink Trump is the first president in history to never spend a single day of his presidency with as many as half the nation supporting him. Predicting his failing presidency results in his removal from office after one failed term is not that difficult.
ineedadrink · 51-55, M
@windinhishair Guess your crystal ball is clearer than mine. Suppose there's a third party candidate that gets traction like Ross Perot did? Nothing in politics is as good or as bad as it seems. Heard an old timey political operative mention that once.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@ineedadrink I would have agreed with you up until 2016, having survived a few bad presdents. Unfortunately, this administration is worse than it seems, and it seems pretty bad.

@ineedadrink many people are wide awake now...2 years later. He's done. All he can do now is run for God
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Fernie He has essentially declared himself King and refused to cooperate with Congress, obstructing justice and obliterating the rule of law. He already believes he is God.
Fernie · F
@windinhishair 🤔...you're right...he DOES see himself as God...nowhere for him to go now but down then
@windinhishair And hopefully not even that!

@windinhishair more like Congress refuses to do anything
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Mountainlady16 How is Congress refusing to allow Trump's aides and cabinet to testify? How are they refusing to respond to their own subpoenas? How are they refusing to provide the documents that they requested?
oregnsrb · 61-69, M
Congress could have compelled people to testify by issuing subpoenas...they did not issue subpoenas, they sent letters and 'asked' people to appear.
Issuing subpoenas would have allowed the 'witnesses' to bring lawyers, and to be cross-examined by GOP committee members - both of which the Dem committee members did not want at that point in the 'investigation.' I'm not sure why.
It's really very simple - if you want to compel people to submit to questioning, you go through the legal step to issue a subpoena. THEN, if someone prohibits that process, a case can be made for "obstruction" (unless the USSC rules it is acceptable)
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@windinhishair Testifying at a sham hearing serves no purpose. The hearing was a sham and served no real purpose other than politics. It had no basis in reality since Trump won the election and has done nothing illegal or outside of his constitutional authority. You demoncraps need to wake up and realize your brand is severely damaged and your side is extremely corrupt. Biden, Pelosi, Obama all took and are taking bribes. Not a good thing.
lou502008 · 61-69, M
@windinhishair you can only hope he serves 1 term. dont hold your breath though, i see reelection in his future!

How come nobody has pointed out that this is patently false on several levels?
