I think young criminals should je locked up till they learn a trade.

not a set number of years... but they can choose to become a carpenter or a plumber or some college degree and they stay in jail till they finish that training. so they can then start a new live without crime. and if someone doesnt want to do any kind of training fine.. they stay in there forever.

For certain, if not most non violent crimes, I agree 100 percent.

I would add a requirement to pay restitution, though.
