How weird. It's not a celebration of the easer bunny, it's a celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

@katielass Well actually, factually, it IS a celebration of spring, new life, Easter bunny and Easter chicks to way, way more people than it's not.. I suspect that Easter, like Christmas.. was once a pagan tradition that the church adopted.. Now I suspect you won't like that answer and will probably launch into a fit of insults but it's more than likely the case. I was reading that thank goodness the numbers of religious nutters is decreasing in the states.. thank f*ck for that! About time
