@JovialPlutonian Oh, I'm just marking this question to see the answers. I'm as curious as you. I can see that he has some good ideas, but he's so bad at presenting them that they sound horrible. On top of which his better ideas are peppered on a heap of terrible ones. So all in all it's difficult to understand why anyone still supports him.

Incorrect. The majority did not vote for him. He lost the popular vote by some three million votes. But the electoral college is what matters and they picked him over Clinton. @JovialPlutonian

@JovialPlutonian We weren't originally set up as a democracy. We were founded as a Republic. We are The Republic Of The United States Of America, not The Democratic United States of America. Our founding fathers didn't feel the general public could be trusted to choose the president and so the electoral college was put in place. Hell, originally only rich white male land owners were even allowed to vote at all.

@Cmstars I wouldn't need to it's quite obvious they don't trust you to sway things in the rich's favour, but they'll let you believe your vote is worth something. I don't need to know the details when one sees the bigger picture, that you're just being duped. It's that simple.
