Trump approval rating 39%

Reading SW you would think Trump was the greatest President ever and those here who dare to disagree are treated like a small group of ignorant misfits. But the fact is- we are the majority of the American people!

More people voted for even the much disliked Hilary than for Trump, and Trump has consistently had among the lowest approval ratings of any president ever. It's never been more than low 40s% and is currently just 39%-

So why do you Trumpters act like you represent the will of the American people?

Because the media is SHOVING bad press down the American People’s throats like Linda Lovelace since even before he was elected!
No other president in the history of this country has ever received so much bad press.
Crazy.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Hikingguy None? Not, Gerald Ford? Not Jimmy Carter? Not even Richard Nixon? NONE? Thanks for your exhaustive research efforts, Cap'n Crunch.
Hikingguy · 56-60, M
Well i’ll Tell you Fruit Loop, the coverage today is a lot more personal and opinion oriented today than years past. Now we have Hollywood in the mix and it is proven the 90% of coverage media wide is negative.
And back to you and your experienced exhaustive research.@MarkPaul
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Hikingguy So, you mean Hollywood was not involved in "the mix" (as you call it) back in the olden days, back yonder? You mean, like when Hollywood actors were blacklisted? Or, do you mean like during the Vietnam War when Hollywood was silent?

What exactly have your historical studies included, Tex?
Hikingguy · 56-60, M
Hollywood did yes protest.they did have some involvement. But with today’s 24-7 media stream,it is non stop. When you come out and like Di Niro and say in front of millions of people “Fuck Trump” and people love that or when They call his some horrible names or talk about raping his wife, NEVER in my life have I heard such Aweful horrible disgusting disrespect.
Your generation and mine will never see eye to eye on this.
Done arguing with you. Bye.@MarkPaul

I know right? How dare they report when he lies, lies some more, denies he's done something he clearly has, show him on TV sucking up to Putin at the same time as throwing the entire NATO intel agencies under the bus, report the e mails his son sent wanting to negotiate with a NATO adversary to get shit on a campaign opponent, ask Russia on TV to release hacked e mails (And they do), ridicule disabled people, sexually assault women, and the 100s of other shit his vile mouth spouts...yeah, how dare they...
Hikingguy · 56-60, M
Yup. I won’t deny that. But this is all they focus on. Always.
But never mind the other positive things he is doing in his presidency. @HerKing
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Hikingguy You mean, you're done arguing before you were able to express your disgust over a president (small "p") using the word "bullshit" in a public speech and insulting a dead war hero in a war the Baby-trump (capital "B") sat out with fake bone spurs, and using cheap middle school insults over everyone who hurts his feelings as people like you hoot and holler their approval. Is that what you mean?
kayle · 70-79, M
@Hikingguy No other president has given them so much reason for bad press. He has been an insult to the dignity of the office and an embarrassment of the US to the rest of the world.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Hikingguy To be fair, America has never had a president like Trump before. The guy has broken every character rule in the book. And dont get me started on his economic credentials. He is not a business man. He is a Trust fund baby with a reputation for selling his name as a brand, taking a skim off the top and running. And his pattern continues as President.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman
selling his name as a brand, taking a skim off the top and running. And his pattern continues as President.
Indeed.

kayle · 70-79, M
@whowasthatmaskedman So true, so true. He has had many business failures, been sued multiple times, and filed several bankruptcies. Hardly qualifications for running a country. No wonder he doesn't want voters to see his tax returns.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@kayle He also had two civil cases to answer to over....

tax fraud. Who wudda guessed?
kayle · 70-79, M
@Hikingguy And no other president has done the bad things Trump has done. But the press gave Bill Clinton plenty of grief over Monica Lewinsky- which was trivial compared to the things Trump has done!
