I wouldn’t. Marx defines it. As he defined it, it’s impractical and unsustainable.
Socialism is used as an umbrella label today without being specific. Is Medicare Socialism? It’s a socialist policy possibly, but by itself, it’s not socialism.
Income taxes are a form of socialism. Folks who are traditionally against socialism support some form of income tax.
Getting into the debate of socialism or not is a fool’s errand.
