@sunrisehawk Since when didn't it? My guess is you're going to find more extreme conduct and thoughts on the extreme ends of the ideological spectrum, and that's exactly what people in the middle tend to call crazy or bad, i.e., insane or evil.

I have nothing to back this theory up with, of course.

@CountScrofula In the cases of individuals committing horrible crimes, it is almost always the individual who is evil and they use their interpretation of an ideology as justification.

When an authoritarian government commit horrible crimes, then it is usually an evil twisting of an ideology.

The point here is this was a politically motivated terrorist attack and shouldn't just be chalked up to a random crazy person whose actions had no meaning.

@RodionRomanovitch Why do so many knee jerk reactions go to Hitler? Mao, Stalin, and others killed so many more people. Before you jump instinctively, remember any who slaughter others is evil and wrong and I condemn them all.

@sunrisehawk White supremacists are generally far right-wingers. I personally think they’re pretty evil.
