Brexit shambles rumbles on.

It's really boring and chaotic. Nobody knows anything and nobody can predict anything. Its like being trapped in a room forever being forced to listen to Nickleback. Apologies to Nickleback.

I used to have opinions on this and stuff but now I'm bored.

@Harriet03 What a distinguished contribution to the debate.

@MartinII It sums up the debate!!

@Harriet03 No, it sums up the anti-democratic, unimaginative bile of Remoaners.

@MartinII I speak purely from a NHS, point of view. Nurses leaving in droves!!
Congratulations..

@Harriet03 Maybe we could start training some of our own again?

@Harriet03 Purely from an NHS point of view (no other) it would be very beneficial if patients could leave in droves!

@Quizzical And for the 5yrs, we do what??
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Harriet03 Well, that's the question...

I personally think we should not have been so reliant on foreign doctors and nurses anyway.

Not that I have anything against them of course, it just seemed an unwise decision to make in the first place.

We, as a country, should really be doing more to ensure that we can produce our own professionals for many industries.

It might mean a huge overhaul of the education system.

@Quizzical Most non Brit med staff, are not European. There from the Commonwealth 🤷‍♀️

@Harriet03 Then how would Brexit affect them?

Or is it a fear of the unknown future?

@Quizzical Drug supply. It's a major worry.

@Quizzical I've seen both European and non European colleagues and friends leave the UK since the referendum. Uncertainty plays a part but also the continuous nationalist rhetoric on the media has been big part. Especially for a Canadian friend of mine he "no longer felt welcome or safe". He went back to Quebec.

@SW-User I know an Italian who went home for the same reason. She said it was like the country told her to f off.
