I’m amazed to see all these private universities on the list, because the whole “donate to the school and we’ll get your kids in” thing is so well established already. Maybe bribing is cheaper?

This is hardly the worst scandal in the world. Writing the "bribe" off their taxes as a charity deduction is the big problem for many of these rich parents.
