Confederate States

Here is a history lesson/question.

Since, if you look up a list of the Confederate Sates of America, you will find 11 states listed - South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina - why are there 13 stars in the
Confederate flag?

Those 11 states are all welfare states from the northern states that still have to support them.

@Zonuss look at how much money they get back from the federal government. For instance Louisiana gets 2 dollars back for every dollar they put in. Illinois gets 78cents back for every dollar they put in. The rest of those states put in less and get back more. You are welfare states.

@fddlpej The gdp rates are higher down here, and the taxes are low. The North has a few hot spots left. But since 2010, there has been a massive immigration of people from the North to the South. Hell I can name about 100 people I know right off the top of my head from New York state. My point is that they wanted to get away from the high cost of living, the lack of manufacturing jobs, and the cold.
So it is what it is. Welfare is all over the country. Don't be so ignorant. 🙂

@Zonuss the northern states would be fantastic places and still are but they have to carry the south because the south doesn't pay its fair share of taxes like they should. If you take the northern states tax money from the south you people would be living in the stone age. Face it you are welfare states you don't pay your own bills but bad mouth the states you should be thankful to

@Zonuss California is the 7th largest economy in the world. All the 13 southern states put together can't claim that.

@fddlpej Because your blind. We have seen more people from up North than any other area here in the Carolinas. And we wont even talk about Georgia and
Tennessee. We cant keep up with them its so many. I mean they are from all over the freakin place. 🙂

@Zonuss just try something new and look up the facts the numbers and you will see you are welfare states not hard to do. I am only interested in facts not your emotions and how you think it is. Just the facts and talk to me when you pay your fair share.
