Why do some people believe Socialism is the way forward when it has never worked?

Not true Scandinavians are very happy with their countries, in fact most Europeans love their towns and don't want to move, low crime, great transit, bike friendly, no homelessness, and happy. Look up the happiest countries in the world. They are super happy there. No corruption. Based on Christianity and the Christian Governments there.@HannibalAteMeOut

@Carazaa seriously, christian governments? Scandinavian political systems are working because they're mixed and also not being overpopulated plays and important role there.

Swedens, Norway, and Denmarks government have been Christian governments since Vikings around year 1100. The government built beautiful churches in every town and hired pastors for each town to feed and care for the poor and needy and the country was divided into small perishes. Each pastor, paid by government was in charge of caring for their perish. The pastor would knock on everyone's door and invite them to church and care for them if they had a problem etc until 1997 when the government became a non religious government. But the country still have Christian values of caring for others as a main value instead of power and money.

@Carazaa I didn't know they had such strong religious feelings, I always hear that most of the people living there are non religious.

What happened is that God blessed Scandinavia so much that many people have a summer house and a winter house and a boat, but have forgotten about God. Yep, so now they are going down. God will not bless them if they ignore Him, I believe.

I believe when Sweden was a Christian Government for 1000 years it did better than now. I think Denmark and Norways Governments are still Christian. Yes they are great!@Entwistle
