How much time do people generally get for filing false police reports ? But I can tell you my sister’s neighbor got no time for calling the police and claiming she was breaking into her own house.

@Esmaurelia The situation is aggravated by mail fraud/terrorism. He paid the two brothers to send him a hate letter with a "white powder" enclosed. It was only when that canard didn't yield the desired result that he concocted the "hate crime."
@Theseus That’s crazy. I wonder if he’ll still be on the show. That much effort is a sign of someone who’s basically got a screw loose.

@bijouxbroussard The screw isn't loose. It's missing altogether.

It's one thing to genuinely be attacked and then leap to conclusions that it was 'Trump supporters' (which would be a bad enough thing just to assume). To invent the whole thing (and not even very well), whether to boost his profile or generate hatred in the selfrighteous way the left loves to do....throw the book at him.

Actually, throw a whole library. Concocting a crime for the glory of having been a victim (not even for something 'understandable' like insurance fraud etc, which is also reprehensible btw), is about the most narcissistic sh!t someone can pull.

If it transpires he did indeed do it. Just as the left leapt to the wrong conclusions in the first place, everyone else should too. Hold fire...until he's found guilty.

Racism must not be as bad as everyone tries to claim, if this man has to go out and pay someone to "racially" attack himself.

@goodlil666 Exactly.

Were it just for falsely reporting a crime, five years, but this hemmorhoid committed mail fraud/terrorism. That's a twenty.

Realistically, he won't see much time. The guidelines are such that if he is unlucky he will get 3 years and actually do less than a year. He will get fined and an extended probation. Oh, and if it is indeed a felony he is convicted of, the loss of voting rights.

My GF loves the show so I can't be too mad at him, but honestly I think anyone who files a false charge should have the book thrown at them.
Theseus · 46-50, M
@Zaphod42 I think you're right. These were uniquely heinous crimes.

He couldn't have done it without the hate of the left wing media and democrats.
katielass · F
Meh, they already hated us.
