Those who don’t believe climate change is man-made, what happens when we run out of fossil fuels?

I understand your position is that pollution doesn’t significantly hurt either the environment or people’s health, and that clean energy will hurt the economy or in some way reward lazy people; however, you don’t deny, do you, that fossil fuels are a non-renewable resource? Or that we are rapidly running out of them? So, I mean, isn’t renewable energy inevitable? So mightn’t we just as well go ahead and make the transition now since it’s going to have to happen anyway? Just something I was wondering about at work this afternoon.

Look, even ignoring the climate change debate,do we want all the lakes and air polluted. We need a steam powered car

@bookerdana I’ve brought that up, but the consensus among conservatives seems to be that pollution isn’t really hurting our lakes or our air, and they all know some people who work in coal mines who didn’t get sick, so it must not really hurt people either.

Lake Erie had to be brought back from the dead in the 70s,how can anyone not see cause-effect? Maybe "clean coal"?

@bookerdana Burning fossil fuels externally to produce steam is an advancement in technology? Even the railroads gave up on that.

Check your export sales of oil, you might be surprised finding out we are a net exporter of oil, along with other fuels, including fossil fuels.

Check: bio fuel

@bookerdana Burn food for the production of energy? I can think of better uses for food.

Oil already used is perfect..you don't read well,eh?

@bookerdana Don't work to well in most engins, specific heat capacity is too low. Lot less bang for the buck, you might say.
