So i know politics is littered with national emergency threads at the moment but i'm still interested to know:

For those who think trump has made a good, wise and justified decision here, why do you think it was a good, wise and justified decision?

How do you feel about a president using a national emergency to bypass congress in order to achieve his political aims?
Would you be happy if a democratic president did the same?

You have to stop he drugs from entering. But at the same time you just reduced the incarceration of drug dealers and granted amnesty. So what’s the emergency?

And maybe if a wall was going to stop or even significantly reduce the amount of drugs coming in, it might be worth building. But that just doesn't appear to be the case.
