I'm worried by a LOT of things about it. The level of worry is the same level I give to the deaths of strangers, and to the endangerment of people I don't really know. 4 alarm, not 5.
1. Fentanyl that kills with skin exposure of even one microscopic grain. And I don't give a flying fart if it is coming in through ports of entry or elsewhere on the border, and I don't want to argue about where it is coming in or why this isn't a problem.
2. Criminals that are entering, undocumented, killing people and sexually abusing children. And I don't want to hear any stupid BS about how that is all right, because there are a lot of US citizens who are also criminals. We certainly don't need to import any more.
3. Traffickers who are enslaving women and children of both sexes to work in illegal sweat shops and in the sex trade against their will. They are NOT coming in through the ports of entry.
4. HUGE numbers of people from South America who are coming up here and putting themselves in incredible danger to do so, risking the lives of their children, and endangering their own health with a total disregard for our laws and no respect for our wishes.
5. Unvaccinated and undocumented children entering our school systems, bringing with them diseases like measles that were eradicated from the United States 40 years ago, and are now spreading again like an epidemic because so many parents thought they didn't NEED to vaccinate their children....thought they were safe. One in every 1000 sufferers from measles dies.
6. DEEP concern that our existing social systems will crash and burn from being overloaded by the massive influx of people sucking on the freebies. The entitlements system will have less and less money, our struggling schools will be strained to the breaking point, and our medicaid system will crash, putting our own citizens at risk.
