@Budwick I do believe that the Democrat Party of the past was sane and reasonable. They were called Blue Dog Democrats, and I hear there are some of those still alive and living in the Senate and House of Representatives, but they are being overwhelmed and drowned out by the young and vocal (and physically attractive) radical socialists who are pretending to be Democrats.

I think the Blue Dogs in Congress need to grow a pair and develop guidelines for their own party. But Pelosi and Shumer are joining the crazies and making things worse.

There is a real and separate socialist party in the United States, and the socialists pretending to be Democrats should be channeled into the correct party. Unfortunately, they know they would never be elected if that's what they did...hence the camoflauge.

I'm willing to bet in light of Congresswoman Omar's recent tweets/ remarks re: Israel,- if any major military issue/event took place there against Israel, Schumer would drop her like bad habit! Their loyalties as we've seen are not always to the Partie's line, and that applies to the "new blood" and the "old guard"@4meAndyou

@Budwick I am actually a conservative with oddest brain...I have mainly conservative (and what I consider to be) moral values, and yet, like many Independent voters, I can see the point of some of the liberal points of view, and I think it is really important to listen to people who have differing viewpoints, as long as they are not abusive. I was headed down the hate Trump road when I forced myself to listen to him at one of his rallies (against my own inclination), and he rang every one of my chimes.

I think it is really important to keep our dialogue open with civil discourse and good manners on both sides. Both sides have good things to offer but this battle over Trump has made us into two enemy camps, when we were never that way before. I think it is the advent of the SJW's who have made it so extremely crazy.

@Budwick Quick question.........since it was a handpicked selection of GOP well-connected "contractors" (lol) who were paid a total of $22 million to build the 10 prototype wall sections---that all failed to be worth a dime BTW-----and they never gave a dime of OUR tax money back when they failed to perform that fiasco.......would that a typical ultra right wing maneuver?

A) Is any part of what you wrote true.
B) If I understand your bitch, the contractors built wall sections for evaluation. It's not that they DIDN'T build wall sections to be evaluated - but that some or all didn't meet with approval - but, they did what they were supposed to do.

@Budwick No.........none of them did what they supposed to do. If they did all of the prototypes wouldn't have failed miserably to be up to the task they promised they would be when built. Just like the high speed railroaders.......promises were made, money was taken and the project was trashed when it all fell through. And in both cases not a dime was returned and no one was accountable for the monies kept. Substitute railroad for wall prototypes or vice versa in the sentence..and it's the same exact thing. Except for one thing--------------political bias on who did what, but we didn't do that same thing at all.
