But isn't that taking away the citizens right to vote for who they want? What if there's a really high-performing representative who is disallowed to run? Seems to me that if the people don't like the way someone is doing their job then they vote them out of office. Personally, I'm not in favor of term limits for the President either. It should be up to the people.

@Milkshake I edited that but you're also off base. With that thinking you're saying that capitalism is correlated to how elections work. People are elected in Socialist countries. China elects their leaders.
