Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for 2024?

I saw her speech yesterday, neutral and cutting deep. Could she be a presidential candidate, and if she was, could she win?

Good God! Please tell me we are not THAT screwed! But, given her "rockstar" status, that would be enough to get her elected. Doesn't matter whether she could actually do the job or not.

@PrivateHell Yeah, what a horror story to have a candidate who suggests not taking working people's money and giving it to the rich. Fuck the working class, am I right? Fuck anyone who isn't rich or a terrorist. We need to take money from those who earn it and give it to billionaires and jihadists in Saudi Arabia and Syria. Fuck you, fuck me, fuck anyone else with a job who works for their money. We need to all fuck off and die to support those poor starving billionaires.
@BlueMetalChick no, you are absolutely not right, and if you think there is even a remote chance in hell she and the other "Democratic Socialist" won't come after yours, mine and every other working stiff's money, then I really and truly feel sorry for you. I would almost say the people who cheer her on deserve her, except that means those out there actually trying to earn a living have to live under her foolishness too, and in the end they will suffer the most.
@BlueMetalChick I'm not trying to be insulting, or to fight with you or anyone else. I just choose to see things as they truly are. When she runs out of rich people's money to pay for her programs (and she will) and the are no,longer hiring for their companies, where is she going to go for the money then?

I want to ask you a simple question. If democratic socialism is so scary and harmful to the working class, then why does every industrialized democratic socialist country in the world have a stronger working class than America? This isn't my opinion speaking, this is data collected from comprehensive analyses by institutions like the World Health Organization, the Commonwealth Fund, and the United Nations Development Group.

No, you don't. You choose to make up lies, like you did here, and then act shocked and appalled when people don't buy them.
When she runs out of rich people's money to pay for her programs (and she will) and the are no,longer hiring for their companies, where is she going to go for the money then?
And there you go again. Defending the rich and framing them as the victim because people want to revoke their entitlement to take away money from people who work.

Let me give you an example. Every year, you pay taxes. A portion of the money you make working your job goes to the government. A significant amount of that tax money gets handed to the rich. For no reason. The government calls it "corporate subsidies" and it's completely legal. Why do you think that's acceptable? What makes you think it's alright for your money to be taken from you and then just given, for no reason, to a person or a business that's millions of times more wealthy than you are? That's fucking abominable. If you believe that such a system should be preserved and encouraged, then you are in effect the enemy of every working class citizen in your country.

@IstillmissEP But the media hates her. When he said "rockstar status" he was referring to voters, and her social media presence. Because the media hates her guts since she bucks establishment narratives by being anti-war and pro-working class.
@PrivateHell She’d be an improvement over that narcissistic racist in the White House right now. If he could get elected, all bets are off.
