@SW-User it's funny how you're not putting up a graph showing how much illegal immigrants are such a burden on taxpayers. Not 17.1 billion but 116 billion
SW-User
@xRedx You were implying that the country was lax on enforcement. I was addressing that. For all I know you think the graph supports your position as funding increases fizzle-out. Don't fear information.

@SW-User I don't know how building better borders, securing those borders better and enforcing our immigration laws is lax enforcement.

This talks about true costs, the biggest being education. Illegal immigrants pay into social security and taxes and never get any return on that.
While real numbers on illegals are hard to come by really, no one thinks its as high as $116 Billion.

Yeah...that's a tacit admission that you don't have a source.
He is not responsible for proving your points for you.
You either source your claim or you have necessarily conceded the point whether you like it or not.
Sorry, them's the rules.

@xRedx Thats not a source, thats a screenshot. Come on, seriously, if you have a real source, post it.\
EDIT: Nevermind, your picture has a IRLI in the top corner, Immigration Reform Law Institute. Which is incorparted under the organisation FAIR, FEDERATION FOR AMERICAN IMMIGRATION REFORM, which is considered a hate group.

@QuixoticSoul I didn't conduct the studies. It doesn't matter if it's significantly less or more, they shouldn't even be here and it's a burden on taxpayers.

@xRedx Shouldn't be here is not the same as illegal. There are guest worker programs that could be implemented. Lots of countries use them. Republicans are standing in the way.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@xRedx The government conducts studies into this question regularly. Time and time again, illegal immigrants are an economic net gain.
That doesn’t make illegal immigration ok, but it does make the financial angle used by the right kinda dumb.
