It can't buy happiness but it can certainly free you of the stress lack of money can give you since pretty much everything we want and want to do, costs money.
SW-User
I agree with this. I get frustrated when rich people complain a lot, life could be so much worse. Money frees you from a lot of stress. I can say that growing up in a home without any money.

With enough money you can buy anything.
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
That doesn't translate to happiness.
SW-User
I can tell you as someone that has been broke and homeless and as someone that had money to burn, having money made me a hell of a lot happier, so money can buy happiness.
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
lol This is seriously your response? :-) I've never been either of those things but I have known more than a few wealthy people who were utterly miserable in life. Just when I thought I wouldn't encounter another idiot tonight, you magically pop in.😃

It helps
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
not necessarily. having enough money to pay the bills and be reasonably secure helps. Money itself won't satisfy the soul...that's on you and the people/relationships you keep.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
NO I have money in the bank, own my own home plus 2 cars - it does not make he happy but makes life a little bit easier

Money can't buy happiness but somehow it is more comforting to cry in a Mercedes than on a bicycle😕
Nothing material can buy lasting and true happiness
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
May I please select this as best answer?
@NigelDoes: sure.
It can pave the path. Why??
Oh!! Thank you...I am not sad... I am happy, but been there (both on a bike crying and on my leader couch at home) and I know... Lol
NigelDoes · 56-60, M
