Should Ireland leave the EU and join the UK?

Of course it shouldn't and it's a ridiculous question but that is what an Irish Minister was asked by the BBC. 🤦‍♀️

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jan/26/john-humphrys-suggests-ireland-could-quit-eu-and-join-uk

Its about the Irish border question and anchor John Humpreys thought a 'creative' solution would be if EIRE left EU regulations and became sub-servient to British ones.

Britain can't mandate another country to leave the EU, not least one which fought a war of independence againts our armies a hundred years ago.

92% of Irish people told a poll that they want to stay part of the EU. probably about 0,001% of Irish people have any desire to re-join Brexit Britain.

@GunSmoke9 Maybe you should let them know eh. I'm sure they'd be thrilled by your suggestion.

@RodionRomanovitch I answered a question. Does that bother you?

@GunSmoke9 The answer doesn't bother me , I just marvel at the sheer stupidity of it.

@RodionRomanovitch Your opinion of my answer means nothing. If you think they should stay in the EU fine, I don't.
