I just think about the damage done to ask the people who went without pay for that period. Most folks can't manage that without devastation.

@ViciDraco They'll get back pay. And they're supposed to be public servants. This is one of the problems with a massive bureaucracy and treating the government like a guaranteed employer.

@Sicarium brilliant. Seems that Congress behaves that way. I didn't see any of them volunteer to sacrifice their paychecks... or paid meals... or paid travel.

The government needs people to actually do things. The shutdown cause actual and measurable damage to the economy.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@JoeyFoxx Then cite the measurements.

@Sicarium Go blow it out your ass. Trump's own government published data last week how the shutdown negatively impacted the economy.

If you want to learn, you can find it. It ain't hard. I'm not doing your homework for you.

@JoeyFoxx Then cite the data.

@Sicarium 🙄
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@JoeyFoxx It's not hard. Unless you're not being honest or you're cherry picking data.

@Sicarium
😅
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@wildbill83 Lolz.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@Sicarium ironically, that's about what leftist "evidence" or citing amounts to these days... 🤔
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@wildbill83 You're not wrong.

@Sicarium the alternative is to do what everyone else does and try to find another job. Which would become another interesting problem of a reopening government having to scramble to backfill positions.

you boys are children. Seriously.
