@Jm31xxx He knew he was going to dump NAFTA . Without NAFTA Mexico would be in trouble. Trump corrected the trade deficit, a US boycott of Mexican goods would cripple them . He can also close the border any thing me he sees fit . So while they may not have written a check , the money for the wall has been more than made through business dealings that ultimately are good for both countries.

@TexChik so then - and Im in the UK and ive been busy lately so sorry if this is wrong or a stupid question- why is there is there this big drama from the democrats if the moneys not coming from USA? To my understanding, all this gridlock youre having is because the Democrats dont want to pay for the wall.,, Am i missing something (and i totally could be)?

@Jm31xxx the Dems want to spend trillions on their socialist agenda . They won’t vote for the wall because

1) they will not allow Trump to win anything... regardless of who it hurts

But the point is moot . He’s going to declare a state of emergency tomorrow and order the funds to be released for the wall . Once his AG is confirmed, they can start enforcing the law and putting people in jail

@TexChik well if it costs so much money, thats a lot of money to waste just to see a man they hate publicily fail.

To be honest IDK though. But in Israel a wall works because it every inch of it is under 24 hour surveillance. But to put the USA wall under that type of surveillance (and also maintaince too) is going to be way tougher and way more expensive (Because the border is longer than the length of the Israeli wall).

@Jm31xxx the wall cost 5 B one time . DeLing with illegals and border security costs 98 B annually. The libs pusses through 5 B in a blink under Obama . It’s a good thing to build it finally.

@TexChik I love it when those who complain about the cost of a wall are the same people who want Medicare for all. What cost will that be?

@TexChik Our next door neighbour even paid for the wall between our properties himself. Im so glad he did bexaiuse he has an annoying dog.

So i guess Trumps getting Mexico or the Democrats to pay for his wall ambitions are possible.

It could be a bit clearer but maybe im just a bit dumb.
