Debate is happening RIGHT NOW about funding a secure southern border. (Question below). Dems are saying that "experts say a wall is not necessary".

@katielass We have had fencing for decades yet it doesn’t work. Most walls around the world that “Work” is cuz they are willing to use deadly force to secure it. So unless you want that to be what they do they don’t work. Ever hear of Idk? A ladder? Or rope? Or walking around it?

@katielass Latina Made a pretty good point. Most come over via plan and over stay. So the wall is sorta not the top thing we should focus on if we are really worried about illegal immigration.

@katielass I am just asking when we, the American people, are going to be presented with the names of the experts, their qualifications, and with documentation. Paper was passed today at the white house meeting. All I am saying is that we have the right to see it.

I like to deal with facts, and if our government has the facts, when are we going to be allowed to see supportive evidence?

@4meAndyou People gave you responses about the papers and told you to go google it and search for yourself! Go to the library and have them help you look online for academic reviewed papers. You have lots of options.

@SW-User I told every one of those people, and I will repeat it for the 8th time, that I don't want to google stupidity on blogs by non experts, and I don't want to google period. What I want is a public release of the documents that are being used in the meeting at the White House today, WHICH includes the documentation about the 3700 terrorists captured at the border which was handed to the democrats by Trump, and which also SHOULD include a comprehensive bipartisan study which would list sources (not just an anonymous "experts say" which is all we have heard so far) and the study SHOULD show the most efficient and economically feasible methods for containing the southern border.

I don't believe such a study even exists. Which is why my post seems to mock the concept.

This post was actually questioned, as though I am not allowed to post openly and ask any members of our government who might see it, WHERE are the documents YOU our GOVERNMENT are using?

There are people here who don't even want that question being asked.

@TexChik The wall stops them cuz they use guns and are willing to shoot. It’s also a much smaller amount of land to defend there. Mexico and Americas border is huge.

@SW-User the wall stops drug and sex trafficking, stops incursions by violent gangs , makes getting across our border so formidable that few will want to try it , and trump plans on indefinitely holding illegals caught crossing in barbwire surrounded tent cities until federal judge can determine their fate , no more catch and release .

@4meAndyou We haven't seen any "facts" to support the assertion that walls don't work because there are none. If walls didn't work, why do we lock our doors and windows? Those are just a different kind of wall. Because it prevents people from just waltzing right in. The fact is, the left is talking out their ass, as usual. And their supporters are, as someone said, easily manipulated and too stupid to know it.

@katielass Today the Secretary of DHS was cut short by Chuck signalling to Nancy. They allowed her SIX minutes to present the facts that Congress is supposed to need to make informed decisions.

They want to cut information off at the source. NO ONE is allowed to know the facts...not even the Senators who will need to vote.

@4meAndyou It's not like may of them care about facts either. The dems don't want the issue solved, they prefer to have an issue with which to beat the other side upside the head with. And a lot of the repubs don't want what the people want either. It's why I've been saying it's past time to put a lot of repubs out to pasture and elect people who know who the boss is and who works for whom. Let the dems lollygag all over themselves, the ones who will have lasting power are the ones who do as they're told.
