Just curious, why are so many Australians such huge Trump supporters?

Seems odd for them to be so heavily invested in American politics.

I assume because they don't have to live under his wannabe dictatorship or actually deal with his policies. On the other hand, Australia does have a reputation for right wing, racist politics, oppression of aborigines, etc., so the Trump ethos might fit right in down there.
