The shutdown wouldnt be to bad if they were to tell us how long it would last..

I need to make plans and take money out of my retirement account and get my people back to work, most starts back tomorrow for straight pay no overtime no prevailing wage

There was a bipartisan deal, that all sides agreed to. Trump agreed to it, but then tragedy struck.

A right wing pundit challenged Trump's manhood.

And just like that, in an instant, he sequestered himself in the White House, and started calling Democrats traitors, who want Americans to be raped, addicted to drugs, murdered, and those who survive, infected with all sorts of horrible diseases, and if by chance any survive after all this is done, the terrorists who snuck in, will finish us off.

Run, run, run.

Democrats, BTW, are also American. The person who can end the shutdown is in the WH. You voted for him, I believe?

Oh well, this is what we get with a Trump shutdown. Get used to it. It won't be the last time he shuts down the government in a Trumpertantrum.

@jackjjackson I don't drink. Denial of the president's own words doesn't make them magically disappear. Even in TrumpWorld.

@jackjjackson Happy New Year! May 2019 bring you health, joy, prosperity, and clarity.

Back at you. @windinhishair

And I hope it works out in your favor. In all our favors.

But politics aside, when the guy in charge assumes responsibility and then denies all accountability while blaming, berating and mocking the very people who need to negotiate with him while continuing to demand his outcome out of one side of his mouth and pretending to want to negotiate out of the other, this is what we end up with.
monte3 · 70-79, M
@Graylight my favorite part of this entire deal is Trump taking full responsibility for the shut down on National television. And we got a front row view at his negotiating abilities.
HerKing · 61-69, M
All correspondence should be directed to the WH c/o D J Trump. He was the one on live television saying he'd take the hit and not blame anyone else..
HerKing · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson Is that it? You know he's demented don't you?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
WINH, NW, you? All? @HerKing
HerKing · 61-69, M

jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Correct it appears that you and your ilk hate the President.

@jackjjackson I'm glad that you agree that the situation was far different then than now, when Trump's actions are driven by hatred, and his adoring loyalists support gassing and caging immigrants.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Just because you and cnn use those verbs doesn’t make them accurate. @windinhishair

Since Mexico is going to pay for the wall, the shutdown shouldn’t last too long.
SW-User
That was the actual promise that ALL Republicans now choose to ignore.

Blame Ann Coulter. She controls Trump on this issue.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Even though we are on completely different sides of tne politcal chasm, I am sorry for anyone affected by this.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Both sides are planning to keep illegal aliens and illegal attempted immigration as 2020 campaign issues. The Dems are making a big mistake. @monte3
monte3 · 70-79, M
Note that my response avoided politics. @jackjjackson
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I did. So? @monte3
Soon and chucky gives the Don 10 votes I guess
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Borrow it if possible from your 401K rather than take a taxable distribution.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@jackjjackson majority of 401 is the wifes 30 years of hard work so I wont touch that
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
If you can pay it back that is the most tax efficient way to do it. @MarineBob

The interest goes back as principal in the borrowers account, too.@jackjjackson
