12-31-2019 President remains firmly ensconced in the White House with an approval rating north of 50%. CNN still whining in ineptitude.

@jackjjackson The president hasn't had an approval rating north of 50% in his first two years. What is he going to do differently in 2019 to save his failing presidency and garner more support than his 36-40% base?

The question requested a prediction and I made mine. I’ll look forward to seeing what happens in the upcoming year. Hope your holidays have been nice. @windinhishair

@jackjjackson I know you made a prediction. I'm just curious how you came to that conclusion, considering the president has never been above 50%, has shown himself to be incapable of change, and has given no evidence in his first two years of actions that would warrant or result in an approval rating greater than 50%, let alone 45%.

The holidays have been fine. I hope yours have been too.

After 2 years President Obama’s approval rating was 41%. I’m on a break from debating over the holidays 😀 thanks for the kind holiday greetings. @windinhishair

@jackjjackson Actually, as of December 29 in their second years, Trump is at 41.4%, Obama was at 45.8%. Clinton was at 44.8%, and Carter was at 50.6%. The Bushes were both over 60% (Source: the 538 website).

Have a Happy New Year, and prepare yourself for 2019--the wildest ride yet!
