Why are Democrats trying to shut down our Government?

They have shown contempt for ordinary Americans because they care more about stopping Mexico from paying for the wall than they do about their own Government. They have no credible plan and this will backfire on them.

@whynottalk Exactly. They should let Trump make Mexico pay for the wall.
Why do democrats keep trying to group ‘illegal and legal ‘ into one group.
Why do they want flows of drugs human trafficking and criminals..
Everyone’s welcome to knock on the front door and get processed properly.
Innocent ppl dont climb walls..

@Karlbodge Yes, ring the whole continent, I love it 😂
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Did you hear about the democrat that took a walk in San Francisco?

He slipped in a big smelly pile of reality, and got an inconvenient truth stuck in his hand when he tried to break his fall!

I made that up myself! You like?
Karlbodge · 26-30, M
@QuixoticSoul Its realistic and sensible. Like Trump's plan.
MrAboo · 36-40, M
I thought Trump was saying he will shut it down if they don’t do something about illegals

Part of his resignation letter.

I have said from the beginning that the armed forces of the United States should not be the policeman of the world. Instead, we must use all tools of American power to provide for the common defense, including providing effective leadership to our alliances. 29 democracies demonstrated that strength in their commitment to fighting alongside us following the 9-11 attack on America. The Defeat-ISIS coalition of 74 nations is further proof.

Similarly, I believe we must be resolute and unambiguous in our approach to those countries whose strategic interests are increasingly in tension with ours. It is clear that China and Russia, for example, want to shape a world consistent with their authoritarian model gaining veto authority over other nations’ economic, diplomatic, and security decisions to promote their own interests at the expense of their neighbors, America and our allies. That is why we must use all the tools of American power to provide for the common defense.

My views on treating allies with respect and also being clear-eyed about both malign actors and strategic competitors are strongly held and informed by over four decades of immersion in these issues. We must do everything possible to advance an international order that is most conducive to our security, prosperity and values, and we are strengthened in this effort by the solidarity of our alliances.

Because you have the right to have a Secretary of Defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these and other subjects, I believe it is right for me to step down from my position.

If I vote for Mr. Trump, will he make Mexico pay for my dinner?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
He can even use his Foundation to pay for it. Oh wait, not since last week. Drat.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
And idiots vote democratic
Karlbodge · 26-30, M
@MrBrownstone Yes, its because they are easily fooled and distracted by their leaders.
Dateless · 31-35, M
Shut up.

Everything surrounding trump is crumbling around him and you still sit up and defend a lying traitor.

Trump has bullied his way into office and HE WILL GO TO JAIL FOR IT.

His WHOLE FAMILY will be locked behind bars because of his incompetence.
Karlbodge · 26-30, M
@Dateless Hillary will go to jail because she stored confidential data on a private server. She compromised US security like no-one else before or since.
Dateless · 31-35, M
I’m done talking to you fucking idiots
@Dateless Silly man. Can't you see that Mr Bodge is a false flag pseudo lib posing as an ultra conservative? He's been doing this for years!
Trump is doing just fine in spite of a lot of pesky opposition from people who appear to have completely lost their minds!
Graylight · 51-55, F
It's Trump who used the wall as leverage. It's Trump who proudly accepted the responsibility of the shutdown. It's Trump who, at the last minute, refused to sign the bill he said he would.

This has nothing to do with who is paying for a wall, as if we could force another country to pay for one of our projects. Trump said much of the wall has already been built and that security at the border is doing a wonderful job. Sounds like we don't need a wall at all.
Tres13 · 51-55, M
Trump derangement syndrome
Karlbodge- I know that you are a progressive posing as an ultra right wing conservative but I have to say, lately I completely agree with what you have to say! I must officially be "ultra right wing" now! 😆👍🇱🇷
Karlbodge · 26-30, M
@puck61 I am a sensible centre-right Conservative, like Alex Jones.

Where does one begin...

So, then, Mexico is begging us to take $15B-$30B, and the Democrats are saying no?

What is it that they have no credible plan for??
HerKing · 61-69, M
Oh bless you, one day you'll be all grown up and not believe the misinformed crap you're thinking now...
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@HerKing If this high end satire ever stops showing up around here I’ll be very disappointed. This man is a national treasure!
