If there's a well-thought-out exit plan than that would be good but if not honestly bringing people back home with no jobs to give them is gonna hurt us even more
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@TheRascallyOne I mean... they’re still in the military, right?
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@InvaderNice yes Going to war actually makes a profit as to which sitting at home doesn't bring in in the income
Ryanoliver2011 · 31-35, M
@TheRascallyOne technically if you are in the military that is your job and just because you get sent home doesn’t mean you are out of work. You sign up in shifts like I think the minimum is a 4 year contract
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@TheRascallyOne But the veterans get paid the same regardless
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Ryanoliver2011 @InvaderNice Yes they do but they're not in the sense making like making tanks and fueling jets and doing things like that if everybody comes home at once it's just straight money out of the taxpayers pockets straight into theirs it doesn't help the economy if we had jobs to give them as soon as they got back then it wouldn't hurt
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@TheRascallyOne Oh I see what you’re saying. We may as well have them do something useful if we're paying them.
Ryanoliver2011 · 31-35, M
@TheRascallyOne well yes that is true but on the other hand should war break out we will need those troops
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Ryanoliver2011 but if not then the dollar value will be cut in half

@TheRascallyOneThe people returning are military. They will still have a job.
DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
@TheRascallyOne When the soldiers return they will spend money in the local area. Visit a military community when soldiers are deployed and see if the local merchants are not happy to see them return.
