There should be a maximum voting age

Oh wow!! Holy sh!t!! I cannot believe that I just read this!?!? Surely you’re only joking?? Just trying to garner some attention by making trite, flippant, & asinine remarks like this? This is ABSOLUTELY THE STUPIDEST F$&KING COMMENT that I’ve ever had the dissatisfaction of reading on this site. Surely, you are just a troll? Just GOTTA BE. For the record, people over 70 have MORE than “paid their dues” to society. They’ve paid their share of taxes, for which now they should be able to reap the rewards. They have voted & been leaders themselves. Fought for our freedom on foreign shores. Made inventions that have revolutionized the world. Guess what? This internet by which we are now communicating?? Created by people who are now in their 70s. Too many inventions & technology to even comprehend was created by people that YOU find to be “obsolete”?? RIDICULOUS!! They’ve had gainful employment & reared children, who have now (OBVIOUSLY) reared simple minded twits, such as yourself!! By the way, exactly how old are you? 18? 19? And y’all WONDER why people hate “millennials”!?!? That is completely understandable. I did a bunch of dumb sh!t back in my day. However, disrespecting my elders was NEVER one of them. Because even my young bravado knew it’s limits, and I was always aware of the wisdom possessed by my elders. And on that note, I will leave you with something to consider before BLOCKING your STUPID @$$. (No, I am certainly NOT scared of debate with you or anyone else. However, I will NOT engage in a “war of wits” with you, when you obviously have 0 weapons. Your stupidity can NOT be alleviated, and you must continue to suffer from your brain wasting infirmity on your own. Continually attempting to educate a fool with no possibility of success insures that the teacher becomes a fool as well. And I’ll not be a part of that).

Nevertheless, the old saying is paraphrased as such: When you are a teenager & young adult, you THINK that you have all the ANSWERS. When you grow up & actually become an adult, you REALIZE that not only did you NOT have all the answers, you did NOT even know all the QUESTIONS!! I realize that makes absolutely NO sense to you NOW (as it didn’t to me either 30 years ago). But ONE DAY it will. And it is for THAT DAY and for THOSE REASONS that the people over 70 are VITAL to having a voice in our democracy. Good luck & Heaven help us!!
