just like there is a minimum age. why should someone over 70 that doesnt contribute anything to society still be allowed to vote... especially about topics that wont affect them anymore.

What makes you think people over 70 dont contribute? If your issue is with people who don't contribute, what about someone who is 20 and doesn't contribute? What about people who not only don't contribute, but suck money/resources out of society?
