Conservative republicans explain why you are against taxation.

but are for certain tariffs?
I don't know any sensible person who is against taxation. Taxation is necessary in any large autonomous group that populates a specific geographic location, if they want any quality of life and security. Tariffs are a tool. They can be used to cover certain aspects of 'overhead' or as punishment for unfair trade practices. The problem with the socialists is they seem to think that a country can tax its way out of poverty. That is impossible. It goes back to one of the first lessons in life. Nothing is free. Everything requires an effort of some sort. A smart person once said, "Trying to tax your way out of poverty is like standing in a bucket and trying to pick yourself up by the handle." That's the problem with democrats. They are immature and idealistic about things. They don't have a realistic perspective about economics or anything else.

you don't have to sell your stuff here, there is no way to get out of regular taxes without destroying your life
Sparkinmyhead · 22-25, M
@Jackaloftheazuresand what you mean?
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@Sparkinmyhead a tariff is a result of a choice, there really isn't a choice in taxes

Tariffs are siblings slapping each other. "Sure you can sell your car here, just one thing first..."

Tariffs will encourage them to buy American. Something they are not able to do on their own without the government manipulating the prices for them.

I agree with tariffs on principle but they typically fail when implemented if economics is the prime concern. So I am kinda against both but then again I never been a Republican.
