@CopperCicada The problem with the centrist label in a right-left political dichotomy is that it applies equally to a person who truly holds centrist positions across the spectrum of issues and a person who holds a relatively equal number of extreme left and extreme right positions.
I am closer to the latter and this survey pretty much labeled me a centrist. 🙄 I hold not a single centrist position that I know of. 🤷♀️
@sarabee1995 Sure. I think that's one of the problems with the right-left dichotomy. It has no predictive power. Just as you say, you're in the middle because you have a "centrist" views or because you have a mixture of right/left views without bias.
I'm a centrist like you are a centrist.
There are other axes that I think are more interesting these days.
@CopperCicada I think political views are so varied that no singular axis can describe the population. I've seen some really comprehensive Venn diagrams on political thought that I like much better.
