Why doesn't the left understand what socialism is?

No socialist ideas have ever worked in America or anywhere else. The Societ Union was a dystopia which was loved by so-called 'Democrats'. Sweden is a country governed by cultural Marxist ideology and that is why Bernie Sanders likes it.

The left don't realize but instead of listening to their opponent's arguments and dealing with them as they stand, they have to invent a ridiculous a made-up position to critize someone. They swallow propaganda by their biased media and are happy to believe what sounds right without doing their own research. This is how they divide and conquer and get people to vote against their own self-interest.

Post office, social security, public roads are all examples of socialist policy. The Soviet Union was an example of authoritarianism. Venezuela also got stuck in authoritarian grip, but also failed due to economic blockade and sabotage from the US and other wealthy nations.

Same argument as Becky and Lafu... really doesn't make sense if you start doing reading on the toppic.

"social security" , is part of the 3th road idea... the one between capitalism and socialism. It belongs to the social-democratic toolbox. It's not "socialism". But it's a form of state organised "social" policies. (there is a diffrence)

Post Office, Public roads. If they are managed by the state, they are just part of the state infrastructure. It's not because you pay taxes for something that it's socialist. Just like your parlement and your leaders (monarchy or president or prime minister in a parlementary democracy) are not socialist.
