Fair enough. But those endless wars are partially a result of apathy.

I always think being informed is an advantage over being ignorant to changes going on around me. Even if I can’t stop it I can at least be prepared.

I used to be hyper-informed and interested in politics, but I just don't care anymore. I'm done with it all, besides a hilarious political podcast I used to listen to a lot, which still makes me laugh on occasion.

It adds zero to my life. It just takes away my energy, now.

Nope. The more I learn, the more unhappy I am.

Politicians are largely useless.
You currently have Countries leaders with 'power' but no financing.
So, like Trump in the U.S. or Macron is France, they spout 24/7 to media, saying the same old same old and folk are figuring out that this current political class is devoid of ideas much less solutions !

No The worse.. Becoming informed about economics makes you informed for the better, then you see how outrageous some of the politics is.

I try to kind of keep up but it does stress me out. I don’t think it’s a good idea to ignore it. I mean... it is our money being spent to keep the government running and it’s supposed to protect our rights which is pretty important. There’s so much hate and disinformation it can take a lot of time to figure out what’s really going on, especially if you take a day or two break from it and then try to catch up!

The point is to be informed.

I feel as if I can understand things better, but I feel largely powerless to make any kind of real change, like embracing why your old car is beyond repair and to give up.
