Have you ever been persuaded by a politician’s lies?

Or is your ego so strong you won’t admit it?
Yeah I have. I was a big supporter of Marco Rubio in 2016 after reading his autobiography and liking his story. But I eventually found out he was just another politician that doesn’t give a shit about the future of the country. After that, I completely cut ties with the Republican Party.
I don't back politicians, I back case histories and causes. Unlike most North Americans who need to be told what they think, I can think for myself. And I am not obligated to vote for anyone that I don't agree with, I can also choose not to vote. Why choose between 3 corrupt governments? Force a new option instead of being a victim.

I have, and it's made me angry and disappointed. But I remind myself that's one person and not all of politics.
I have a whole debris field of politicians who corn holed my soul.

The last one I felt wasn't a hypocrite was the late Florida governor Lawton Chiles.

Former Florida governor and senator Bob Graham was good with me too.

The rest. Local, state, POTUS--😤
No, but I was naive enough to believe that just because Jimmy Carter was a good governor he would be a good President.

When I was young and gullible. But I haven't been young or gullible for a very long time.

so when did you stop beating your wife?
There have been politicians for whom I’ve had more respect than for others, certainly. But I’m not naive. Even the ones whom I think have good intentions have caucuses to whom they must answer. I look at the goals of the platform, that determines what they are able to actually achieve.
