The cops had no way of knowing that any one of these nuts could have been packing heat and were set to murder people in the Capitol. Instead, you have a dead cop that is getting very little press so far. He was literally bludgeoned to death!

There is no question if this was a mob of black people coming towards the Capitol building, they would have faced brut force.

@Peapod There are 5 dead because of this riot. Trump should be bought up on charges based on the 25th Amendment. But because his two week timeframe is almost up it probably be won't happen. The damage is done. 🙂✨

@Peapod Those cops were offered help but they turned it down. I feel something was amiss...one cop was shown taking a selfie with one of the rioters.

Trump told them to go to the Capitol and he would be with them, another lie, he got in his limo and went back to the White House and watched all of it go down, and was happy about it.

I hope he is never allowed to run for any office, his pension is gone, and so is the secret service. He's a cancer to our society and he needs to be in jail for the rest of his miserable life.

@JeanAnna There were cops that absolutely supported this rampage. It's no wonder the Chief of Police resigned almost immediately.

I think more is going to come out about who was all involved with this. These people knew how to get to Nancy Pelosi's office real quick. It's my understanding that they had to have had an insider give them that information since the Capitol building is huge and these offices are not readily there to find.

I hope there will be massive arrests coming and swift and hard punishment for all those involved.

@Peapod You're right. They found Pelosi's office right away and also Jim Clyburn's office which is on the third floor. Someone in the police force was showing them the way. Also one cop removed a barrier and let them in, in another area. They will find out the rotten apples and hopefully they will prosecuted.
