I had the chance to be in multiple countries, racism is everywhere but in the US it's louder. I guess it has lot to do with identity politics and using race and fear to gain support

@Zonuss Obama wrote the playbook on Identity Politics. Did you not catch any of his stump speeches the past few weeks?

@SW-User Obama crossed over party lines and that is how we became President.
Too bad he was treated how he was because of his skin color.

@Zonuss Agree to disagree with you there. I waited for 8 years for Obama to "cross over" as you put it. Never happened...just the opposite.

@SW-User Explain this to me. Because he was voted in twice.
The unemployment rate went all the way down to 4% after the Bush Armageddon global
recession. Now the people are in crowds still cheering this man with shouts of 4 more years. Surely you are not dear, dumb, or blind. 🙂

@Zonuss I did not know we were talking about unemployment and thought this was about reaching across the isle by the man in charge something that simply never happened during the Obama years.

@GunSmoke9 Nah, his skin color had plenty to do with it. Hell, some of SW's finest are still sore about it.
And most people with strong opinions on Obama's policies know suspiciously little about them.

@SW-User There was tons of input. The whole thing is a compromise bill. Hell, it's basically RomneyCare.

@SW-User Yes. Dems solicited, and got tons of Republican input on the bill until Republican cooperation was closed off and McConnell started threatening people for even participating.

@SW-User He was voted in and left the White House with dignity.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User He was treated badly by the GOP because he was a Black Man. There is nothing more infuriating to a racist White Supremacists than seeing a person of color in power.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@QuixoticSoul Very true. It's almost as if they just view Donald Trump as more competent because he is simply White. If Trump was a classy and respectful person I would fully support him. But these weak baby creampuff Republicans don't have the guts to even appreciate a loving family man who respects humanity.

@Anon066 Zonuss has made valid well reasoned points you have nothing so decide he must be retarded... wow go back to the playground
@Zonuss I think the responses to you on this thread answer your question rather well, don't you?
Clearly things are far from well..

@puck61 You didn’t mention China, the nation where they make tv commercials using a black man & pushing him into a washing machine pouring laundry detergent on him & then opening the lid to the washer after the load is finished & out comes a Chinese man. And banning blacks from restaurants during their Corona episode....just two examples. They are very overt about it.
