Am I the only one that recognizes that anti Trump people are saying the very same exact shit that anti Obama people said?

@xixgun The difference is, that Obama was globally popular and that Trump is globally very unpopular. I'm not a massive fan of Obama actually but a lot of non-Americans liked him and still do. Trump is only really respected by the far-right.

@Burnley123 Actually everyone and their brother’s mother liked Trump until he became President. How many times did he host SNL, how many movie and tv cameos did he make, how many people would have sold a sibling to get on The Apprentice?

@xixgun To say there is no difference is a massive cop-out. There are a lot of similarities on foreign policy. They are more different in tone than in policy but the policy differences are also quite big.
E.g. the Paris Climate Deal and the corporate capture of US regulation services such as the EPA. Trump's tax cut vrs Obama's stimulus plan. I could go on.
The circus is a distraction yes but these issues matter.

Then it’s not a “cop out”, I genuinely see no difference in the slogans squeezed out by the nutjobs.@Burnley123
