Have you ever heard the expression, "history repeats itself" ? If people aren't reminded of the path Hitler took, how he came to power, then we are setting ourselves up for another era of atrocities. Please stop being purposefully obtuse & ignorant on the matter.

Personally, I think comparing anyone to Hitler is a tired thing to do, because the man is such a meme at this point. But when actual holocaust survivors do it, that’s something else.

The comparison, is not really to Hitler, it's more of a plea, to remind those who are not familiar with history, of the similarities, between the tactics that brought monsters, like Hitler, to power, and what's been unfolding, in front of our own eyes, over the past few years, culminating in Trump becoming President.
