@InvaderNice He's using the word as "coded language" or a "dog whistle" to people that believe he either sympathizes with White Nationalist or he is a White Nationalist. He is appealing to a racist base.

@InvaderNice He started his campaign with racist comments and has continued to do so. This is exactly the same as DeSantis using the word Monkey as if he didn't understand that would create a controversy. DeSantis's team probably had to brainstorm to come up with the perfect deniable phrase that would appeal to a racist base.
