The President of the United States says he is a Nationalist

What a profoundly stupid comment. What about the following words SOCIALIST and GERMAN, which were rather important to the Nazi ideology, neither of which the applies to Mr trump.

And, pray, what is wrong with being nationalist. Especially if you are a citizen of the USA. Your country is the greatest nation the world has ever know on virtually every score. Why do the people of virtually every other nation beg borrow, steal and cheat to become a member of your nation. What other nation has such freedoms, such rights, such wealth, such resources, such innovation, such drive, such intelligence.

“Nationalist” is a very vague term. It doesn’t necessarily mean nazi.

Saying that someone is a Nazi based on "Nationalist" being in the name as fallacious as those who would say Hitler was a socialist because "Socialist" is in the name. In reality, while Nazis and other fascists are inherently nationalist (almost always white nationalist in the US), someone being a nationalist doesn't necessarily make them a Nazi.

Nazis (it'd be more accurate to call them Neo-Nazis, but abbreviation is what it is) tend to believe in a big Jewish/communist/feminist (in the modern day) conspiracy; they use buzzwords like "Cultural Marxism", "Zionist", or "White Genocide/Replacement", and have slogans like "blood and soil", "hail to victory", and my favourite to laugh at, "Jews will not replace us". They make use of symbols considered occult such as the Black Sun and Nordic runes alongside the swastika, as well.

Know your enemy, for knowledge removes their power to intimidate.

Nationalist and Nazi have little correlation.

Nationalist as opposed to a globalist. Putting America and ALL Americans first. I like that idea.

I'm a nationalist. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Trump is not racist. The leftists, dems, socialists, whatevers, prove their racism by their policies. They assume minorities are not as capable and intelligent as they are, and they have to dramatically alter their speech and social habits because they associate monkeys and apes with black people, and they assume that black people make up the bulk of the criminal element. Democrats are the same racists they have been since the party was founded. That is why they try and lower test score standards, and have a different discipline protocol in schools, and they consider the procurement of identification more difficult for minorities. Trump is a hundred times more 'socially enlightened' than his irrational haters. Trump has done more for minorities in less than two years than the racist Obama did in eight. You guys are the same democrats that gave us the KKK, Jim Crow, and George Wallace, you use blacks and Hispanics as election fodder every four years, and put them back in their boxes the rest of the time and more and more black and Hispanic people are on to you. Vile counterfeit people and filthy hypocrites without an ounce of integrity or honor. I'm not going to even try to understand them anymore. Their hands are blistered from slapping away olive branches anyway. You would show more honor if you didn't try to pass your racism off as compassion and altruism.

Nationalist and Nazi are not synonymous. Not even remotely.
