With all the conspiracy theories we hear about George Soros, can anyone explain to me what benefit a borderless world would be to George Soros?

There would be no benefit.

Soros and Tom Steyer are just the liberal equivalents of the Koch Bros. and Sheldon Adelson. The same people complaining about Soros don't have a problem with the Koch Bros. Some rich people invest in politicians. I don't get mad at any of them. We need campaign finance reform to keep people from taking advantage of the system.

@Lila15 I agree with you about the campaign finance reform, for sure.

@4meAndyou Soros is just a rich guy who contributes to causes he likes. He doesn't want to destroy the U.S. or anything else. But conservatives seem to like conspiracy theories, so they impute motives to Soros that he doesn't actually have. Tom Steyer is actually a lot more effective, but no one cares about him. I hate to say this, but I think Soros attracts conspiracies because he's Jewish and was born in Eastern Europe.

@Lila15 I didn't know you were buds with George Soros! Wow!
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@4meAndyou I wish I was buds with him; maybe he'd help me rent an apartment.

I just don't buy into all of the nonsense conspiracy theories about him which I'm convinced are rooted in anti-semitism. Most of the people who hate Soros seem to fall into that camp. Being one-quarter Jewish, I'm kind of sensitive to that.
4meAndyou · F
@Lila15 Maybe you should be more sensitive to the fact that he is 100% Communist.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@4meAndyou You don't seem to know what a communist is if you think Soros is one. That's like saying Fidel Castro was a free-market capitalist.

"Communist" is like "fascist" - people use those terms as insults with no connection to the actual definitions. They're basically shorthand for "I hate that guy."

Also, since you think you hate "communism," you're probably unaware that nearly every country in the world, including the U.S., has a combined capitalist/socialist economy.
4meAndyou · F
@Lila15 I do know that. Unfortunately, you feel compelled to defend him because of his race and religion. He is NOT a good guy.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@4meAndyou He's the liberal counterpart of the Koch Brothers. If you hate Soros, you have to hate them.

What's interesting is how Tom Steyer is an even bigger liberal donor than Soros, but no one cares about him, because he's not Jewish. Steyer has called for Trump's impeachment, which Soros has not done.
4meAndyou · F
@Lila15 You are so fixated on Jewishness I believe I will terminate our discussion. I do hate the Koch brothers.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@4meAndyou OK, so you just hate it when rich people donate to causes. Fair enough.
