Not all feminists are women in power.
And those who are range from doing a social service to serving their own ends through the cause. Just like anti-feminists, they range from those who have grievances (rare) to those who just want something to blame and look down on. Even if it means demonizing it.
Most people who claim western feminism is useless ignore the fact that lot of the organizations are active in the East and Africa. And in men's rights.
If there was some acknowledgement for that, maybe we can start a productive discussion. Otherwise we're stuck with the pseudo-intellectual online version of feminism.
