How can Dr. Ford afford a team of lawyers?

No clue re her personal finances. Who is paying them? @xixgun
xixgun · M
@jackjjackson In the long run, the American taxpayer, I'll expect.
WoodyAq · M
@xixgun Who's paying Kavanaugh's lawyers?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Good question. Personally I’d like to know all of that. How about you? @WoodyAq

Why should taxpayers pay for Dr Ford’s lawyers? In a perfect world shouldn’t she? In the real world shouldn’t the DNC? @xixgun
xixgun · M
@jackjjackson Well, they shouldn't, but as likely it's the DNC covering her legal bills, and their money comes from Taxpayers...
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Does the DNC itself get taxpayer money? @xixgun
xixgun · M
@jackjjackson Well, they sure as hell don't have bake sales.
WoodyAq · M
@jackjjackson Not so much. I'd rather concentrate on the substance of the allegations: whether I think they might be true, and whether they should be disqualifying if they could be. I have no opinion right now.

But as a side note: I dated (seriously) a woman who was as a student was sexually molested by a professor who later became prime minister of a country. News of his later appointment caused her genuine suffering (and me too, because it was tough to help her deal with the injustice of it all, on top of some obvious trauma from the incident itself). She ultimately decided not to come forward, but it was a tough decision for her.

All this to say that I'm not as cynical about this Ford woman's motives as some people are.

Public money and not private donations for this purpose? @xixgun

I hear you. It would take a cold calculating money grubbing zealot to put him or self through something like this. I couldn’t do it that’s for sure. How Feinstein handled the letter after receiving it has not been explained. I don’t recall reading or hearing anything sbout whether or not Feinstein has ever spoken with Dr Ford either in person, phone or co mu coated by text or email? Not that I want to know but it seems top secret where Dr Ford presently is located is unknown. IF she testifies will she be giving any media interviews beforehand? @WoodyAq

@jackjjackson If she does give interviews, I don't think it helps her credibility.

Her best move (credability-wise) is to come forward, speak and then disappear.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I agree @WoodyAq

@jackjjackson The dnc already contributed, they paid to have her social media scrubbed before frankenstein gave the "letter" to the fbi so they could look at each other and go wth is this for.
