The 1% got taxed more, including Mr Trump. Those on the lowest scale gained the most, and also the companies got a huge cut, so they can reward their employees more and make more work in the USA, not in other countries. Work in the USA gives Americans income and raises, and the government taxes.

Sigh...Nope. The top 1% used less than 10% to reinvest in their companies. They used the rest to buy share options. If they'd used that total of $189 BILLION tax break on their workers the following would have happened; And this is for EACH employee.

McDonalds..$4000 bonus
Starbucks...$7000 bonus

CVS/Lowes group...$17000 (Yep seventeen) bonus .




Explain how that happens when the raw materials are taxed an extra 20%?

So why does he employ them solely on if they say nice things about him or are his family? The economics adviser? His appointment came about because Jared found his name on Amazon (I wish I was making that up, I'm not).

Obama took the POTUS after the worst recession in modern history..A GLOBAL recession..Which means if other countries hadn't recovered (UK didn't get out until about 2012-13) they're not in a financial position to buy their own stuff let alone stuff imported, including from the USA.

I see what is happening on the streets. I watch the news, but I have already identified the sources that I can trust. I bet you have not spent 10 years into judging your sources.

You are already saying the economy is bad, because the economy is good now. You are already faulting Trump for a result that is speculation in the future and has already proved to work in the present. I think you need to wait until his efforts fail before you fault him for it.

Obama took a bad economy and made it worse. He increased regulations and taxes. That only slowed or stopped any recovery that could ever happen. He said the jobs lost would never come back. He said he planned to tax coal and oil companies to the extent the added costs of their products would become beyond the affordability of the average person, in an effort to end their production. He did well with this promise and put many more Americans out of work.

Trump came in and did away with the restrictions and the taxes. This is putting Americans back to work in these industries that Obama said would never come back.

I have one question for you and I dare you to answer it. If Trump is doing so bad, how could you make it so much better? If you were president, what would you do for the American people, how would you make the country better?

@carsonfry That would depend on what the people wanted. That's how democracies work. I'd give up my business interests and not use the presidency for my own financial or my family's financial gain.
