@fumialari Adventure Time is one of the worst cartoons ever made.
Why would I wanna see a Marlboro commercial? I hate commercials in general, they're boring and take up time that I don't need.
Besides, it isn't like that kind of advertising works. If a person is gonna smoke, they're gonna smoke, regardless of whether they see a stupid ad on the telly.

@BlueMetalChick actually numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of advertising on buying habits. If it wasn't effective companies wouldn't spend millions of dollars on advertising.

@BlueMetalChick People are dumber than you thought. Indeed advertisements are only a thing because the profit gained from them (through brand recognition and subconscious associations) is greater than their (often astronomical) costs.
